About the job: Our Operations Manager has a crucial responsibility in ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of operating procedures within the company. This encompasses the development and execution of effective policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance operational performance. They play a key role in identifying areas that require improvement and leading initiatives to maximize productivity, enhance quality, and elevate customer satisfaction. By fostering close collaboration with cross-functional teams, this position reinforces the continuous improvement of processes and procedures, aligning operational goals with the company’s strategic objectives.

- Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase productivity, and reduce costs. This involves analyzing existing workflows, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology where applicable.
- Help identify areas of improvement, troubleshoot issues, and make data-driven decisions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Responsible for identifying and managing operational risks. This includes assessing potential risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them, and creating contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Provide leadership and guidance to operation teams, fostering a positive and collaborative environment while maintaining high levels of accountability and professionalism. This includes weekly team meetings, quarterly one-on-ones, and office hours designed to provide peer-to-peer mentorship development and support to our team.
- As a liaison between different departments, the operations manager facilitates collaboration and effective communication. Working with other leaders to coordinate efforts, share information, and ensure smooth operations throughout the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments and actively apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Proven experience in operation management, preferably in a similar industry or domain. Experience in hospitality and or food service is a plus.
- Having practical experience working with or developing programs that promote skill development would be advantageous.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Should have good financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Needs to be able to analyze financial statements, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to drive profitability and growth
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred experience in a recent operational leadership role with a deep understanding of various operational functions such as supply chain management, logistics, quality control, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in project management software and Google Suits.
