Chinica Bowles brings to the table more than 15 years of culinary experience along with her passion for working with children and young adults. Her interest in cooking was greatly influenced by her grandmother. She grew up seeing her prepare meals and host events at their house. One of Chef Nikki’s professional highlights was getting to work with her mentors, Chefs Antwon Brinson and Rolf Strub. Chef Nikki successfully finished our GO Cook training program, where she
gained practical experience in a professional kitchen. Her first time preparing apple streusel during the training was one of her most unforgettable moments since she crushed it. And because of that, she loved cooking this particular dish. She became more driven as a result of this learning experience, worked harder, and gained more self-confidence in the kitchen. Chef Nikki’s children, family, and friends inspire her to put more effort and pursue her dreams in life.
