Ingrid is a private chef and small event caterer in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her culinary career began in Seattle working in James Beard award-winning restaurants following her graduation from New England Culinary Institute. She has been a professional chef for twenty-five years, and has worked as a private chef and cooking teacher in Charlottesville for the past fifteen years. For Ingrid, a well executed and complete dish has a balance of flavors, a contrast of textures, and a presentation that is both artful and natural. She enjoys creating seasonal menus inspired by local offerings and has been passionate about farm to table cooking since her career began. Ingrid has taught over 150 cooking classes in the Charlottesville area, and is inspired & excited to be working with and learning from Chef Antwon and the whole CCAB team.
